Who needs information?

Minnesota.

It’s a cold place. There’s supposedly a lot of lakes. Drinking is a professional practice there (trust me, they’ve moved WAY beyond alcoholism). People have those stereotypical accents. They like hockey, for some reason.

But lo and behold, some the employees of Minnesota Public Radio must have decided to use some of the hours trapped in their offices by blizzards, devoid of alcohol or hockey, to create an entertaining, informative little news show.

In the Loop

I’ve downloaded all of the free podcasts available and it’s revelatory to hear Jeff Horwich and his team’s take on the news. It combines NPR’s usual in depth reporting with a smartass, “What the hell is going on here?!” attitude.

Good stuff people. Good stuff.
